Our “project”
Restoring the Olive Grove
We have 4 hectares of olive trees that were planted many years ago on the grape terraces that shape the hill side After many years of neglect our aim is to get the grove back into full production both for our benefit and for the local community too.
Herb & Flower Gardens
There are numerous special areas the each have their own unique and special feel. These will be developed into themed gardens to provide interest and enjoyment to us and our visitors.
Lavender on the hill sides
This is a nacent project but the intent is to have over a thousand lavender plants on the terraces without olive trees. This will be complementary to olive production and will look stunning.
Walkways and paths
We are surrounded by stunning public walking tracks and for many years folk have crossed our land between these. The intent is to formalise where these are to give us privacy while providing access to the land.
Feeding ourselves
Not everything revolves around olives. There are many fruit trees, vines and areas for growing vegetables. Some success has been had thus far but this needs to be capitalised on so that we can evolve to being able to feed ourselves.

We do rely on hand tools but also have a line trimmer, brush mower, powered barrow and wood chipper.
